Hardeep Singh Puri on Web Portal of Land Pooling Policy

A new land pooling portal is launched by the Delhi Development Authority today on Feb 5th, 2019, the land pooling web portal provide a single window interface where citizens can apply for land parcels. All formalities and documentation would be completed quickly and according to a time-bound schedule.

Vice-Chairman of DDA told the TOI that “With the launch of the single-window portal, landowners can start registering land parcels. The land would be the first summation and then approved”. He also mentioned that registering on the website; people can show their inclination to participate in land pooling.

The Web Portal on Land Pooling Policy will include all land information including the villages that are included in the pooling and the boundaries of sectors.

Mr. Tarun Kapoor further added “Landowners can use the information to register and upload documents, such as revenue papers. It will give us an idea of how much land is coming up in a certain sector,”

70% contiguous land is the minimum that needs to be aggregated to be developed under DDA Land Pooling Policy.
