Recently, the Delhi Master Plan is marked in this spot to set up the Foreign Enclaves as well as Embassies according to an internal source.

To develop outer areas of Delhi into luxurious smart cities, the Land Pooling Policy of Delhi has been introduced. The land pooling policy is the private-public partnership model also called as the LPP model aiming for giving the essential facilities for the rising population of Delhi. The Government of Delhi has more than 3500 acres of land in many different departments of the Government. Therefore, the process of Land Pooling Policy is not considered as a problem for DDA as well as Delhi Government to allocate the land for external affairs ministry. Government of Delhi possesses huge acre of land in the city. According to a new source, the External Ministry demanded zero ground rent to make the foreign enclave construction. In fact, Foreign Affairs Department requested that for 2 years DDA must keep the property rate unchanged.

The DDA agreed to give a piece of Land for the development office at the lowest cost of 1 rupee. All the issues have been resolved in recent times.
